Hey Everyone!
I hope that you have had a chance to get acquainted with the Blog. If you have any questions about this unit, please post them as a comment under here. If you are able to answer any of the questions with an intelligent statement (support it from either the book or the notes...ie "In the Early Earth Notes, we learned...") I will be willing to give you a point of extra credit as long as you do it before the day of the test. Sweet! Those extra credit points are hard to come by in this class.
If I notice that something is wrong I will try to do my best to post a comment to correct it!
Good Luck! Help each other!
Welcome!
Welcome to the Biology 7th Hour Blog! As always I am excited about anything that is related to science and this page is designed for you guys to create and open up lines of communication. I will try to make posts concerning different topics and you guys will have the opportunity to respond to my posts and each others.
First off, a couple of rules to start off...
1. All information written must relate to Biology class and must be appropriate.
2. When you create a user name, it must represent your last name so that I know who you are and can give you credit for anything that you post.
3. Be respectful of each other.
4. For assignments, all posts must be made prior to class starting.
Use the toolbar to the side to help you find specific posts relating to specific labs or practice problems or units.
This is to help you so please give me feedback on anything that could be useful or helpful to you!
Enjoy!

definition: The science dealing with the formation, development, structure, and functional activities of embryos.
ReplyDeleteExplantion: Growth and development of an embryo
Examples: An example of these is between a rabbit and a human. At the beginnging they are very similar and at the end they are very different. Basically, they become more complex and individual traits are more noticeable.

How does it relate to the evolutionary process?:
Most embryos are similar in appearance in the early stages.
As they grow and develop they start out the same and start to look different as they grow.
